The Soundwalk

The road I have been lived by for three years is a quiet way. Not so many cars, not so many people. But if you walk straight for 10 more minutes, you can see a lively and beautiful park in there ------ The Kissena Park. And, I go there almost every weekend.
A Sunday. At 10 o’clock, I wear my casual shoes to walk to the park. It’s a sunny day. Even though there are not so many cars pass through, as usual, there are few people on the sidewalk. A jogging man breathes heavily pass me by. His steps and his breath sound rhythmic. He should jog every day I guess. I keep walking. I hear a dog barking. I see a girl and her dog Schnauzer behind me. According to the bell’s sound, the dog should be so happy about hanging out with that girl. Although I am in front of them, I know they are “following” me (they are going to go to the park also.) because the bell’s sound and its steps sound so funny. Then, at the crossroad, there is a car is waiting for a woman pushing a baby carriage passing through. Unlike the noisy babies, the baby is quiet. He or she should an obedient baby. Passing through the crossroad, it’s the park. It’s beautiful as usual. Occasionally, a gust of wind blows. I heard leaves' shake and the flag's flutter. Such a wonderful nature! As I walk by, it’s the lake. More people are on the sidewalk. Suddenly, I hear some discordant voices. I discover two gooses just nearby me. Their voices sound not so sweet, but with their clumsy pace, they’re so cute. Some kids see the gooses went ashore, they come. A boy calls to his friends “there’re gooses! there’re gooses! Come on, guys! They go ashore!” Then, other kids run to the gooses. However, maybe the boy’s voice or other kids’ steps shack the gooses. The gooses rush to the lake with their clumsy feet and jump to the water. As the kids shout, the gooses swim away. I just stand there and see the whole process. And, that makes me smile.
